Lower-Sugar Cocktails That Still Taste Like a Margarita
Cutting sugar doesn't mean cutting flavour if the base spirit is doing the work.
A classic Margarita's sugar mostly comes from the orange liqueur; swapping to a smaller pour and adding extra fresh lime rebalances the drink without losing the citrus snap.
Silver's natural brightness means it needs less sweetening to taste balanced than a blander spirit would, which is part of why it works well in lower-sugar builds.
A simple Silver, soda and lime over ice, essentially a spirit-forward spritz, is a genuinely low-sugar option that still showcases the agave itself.
